Bible: Text for the week - Colossians 3:12
Science: Please start to study your science information.  We will be having a test on Tuesday of the following day.
Math: Your Math packet is due tomorrow from the break.  The homework for tomorrow is a hand-out.
Reading: Keep reading for your upcoming book report due on January 11, 2010.  The book is Caddie Woodlawn by: Caroly Ryrie Brink
Social Studies: Please study your vocabulary words given out today.
Language Arts: Reading hand-out.  Read and answer the questions.  Underline all the nounts that are in the reading.
Parents take note of the following: Permit me to qish you a happy New Year!  May the Lord grant you His rich blessings and the deepest desires of your heart.  A Spelling Bee package was issued today with a list of words for your child to study on a consistent basis.  I will be incorporating these words in our regular spelling.  Therefore, I would encourage you to help your child to study.  Our local Spelling Bee contest will take place at the end of the month of February, and our Conference Spelling Bee will be in the month of March.  Please encourage your child to strive to be one of the representatives for the Linden SDA School.

Math: Hand out - Today we did a basic skills reviewing with the students to refresh their knowledge on division.  multiplication, addition and subtraction.  A handout was provided for homework on these skills.

Social Studies: Textbook p. 167 #s 1-5
Language Arts: Spelling test on Lesson #14.  Study the additional Spelling Bee words given out this week.  Textbook p. 103 #11-20.  Write the sentences on loose leaf.  Workbook p. 25.
Parents, take note of the following:  Our school year is running past very fast.  As collaborative workers as we are; we need to encourage together your child and my student to stay focus, and work harder.  Please see to it that your child is reading on a daily basis, reviewing times table, and writing about his or her day's experience.  If your child develops this practice, hos or her cognitive ability will improve tremendously.
